How is Ingrained Culture different?

In a world of stack it high, sell it cheap, deliver it tomorrow and throw it away soon after, it's easy to overlook the human need for wellbeing and satisfaction achieved by creating something tangible and good. I hope (and often hear) that my clients really enjoy and share these feelings as their order is realised.

That may sound flaky, but it's real and there are a lot people for whom creativity is an unfamiliar but rewarding experience.

Ingrained Culture stands out from the competition because I have second to none 'green' credentials the business is certified by Grown in Britain, certified by the Galloway and South Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere and licensed by Scottish Working Woods. My clients large and small receive a fully immersive design process and are encouraged to be involved throughout the whole process from start to finish. Often I'm told by clients that they are sad when a project is completed because it means my communications have come to end, the disappointment only offset by their receiving the finished sign or sculpture.

I am very proud that although my craft is ancient, Ingrained Culture is a very contemporary business.

What do you get from Ingrained Culture that's new?

I am proud to offer products that are heavily made and robust and offer credible and practical Eco-friendly alternatives to the use of finite materials. Ingrained Culture has a very low carbon footprint. All my signs shout their natural qualities and draw attention to the contemporary Eco-friendly values that have gone into their manufacture.

As well as sign making I make bespoke garden and memorial sculpture, Public Art too. I offer 2020s values for example, the use of bronze in sculpture was perfect for Victorian times of heavy industry and Gothic splendour, the use of concrete and steel in sculpture was perfect for modernist times and science fiction, the use of plastic and acrylic in sculpture was perfect for times of oil and gas dominance but today, those materials are seen by many as irresponsible. I offer natural innovative wooden sculpture that is suitable for permanent outside installation and seen by many as both responsible and cutting edge.
