Everything produced by Ingrained Culture is made by hand by Robert Lawrence. Robert is a full time woodcarver, artificer and artisan sign maker.

Can you make something really unusual?

Sure, I should be able to make almost anything. Just complete the contact form on this page, (either above or below) and Robert will be in touch shortly.

Are your sculptures and signs expensive?

Well no. But don't worry if you're on a budget, Robert will confirm to you the exact price and a fixed price quotation before you are committed.

Do you cover the whole UK?

I'm based in Scotland, but I serve the whole UK.

What happens if I don't like what you make for me?

Again, no problem. Through out the design and making process you will recieve regular video updates from and are welcome to make any observations at any stage. Further, once finished, you will receive a final video and you can decide if it meets your expectations and whether to buy it or not. Simple as that. So far, no one has chosen not to buy.

Whether you order a sign or a sculpture, you'll be kept up to date through personal videos from Robert.

WORKING TOGETHER

Whether you wish to order a sign for your house, a garden sculpture, or a significant community public artwork you can expect the same highly personal service from me, Robert. The main point is that you will be fully consulted throughout the design and craft processes. Plus, receive regular video updates of your piece as it progresses - as standard.

Videos

I work alone in my isolated workshop. Despite this fact, you'll find that you come to know me quite well, because whenever I need to consult you or show you how your piece is progressing, you will receive a video update from me.

Fully Consultative Design

You may notice I refer to myself as an artificer, this means if you have already designed your sign/sculpture

/architectural ornamentation yourself, I will simply make it for you.

If however you sort of know what you want, we can design it together, alternatively I can send you design options to choose from.

Clear Paperwork

The whole design process is free and once the design is finalised, you will receive a written fixed price quotation from me. You will of course have had an estimate from me at the outset but the fixed price quotation will be binding. If at this stage you decide not to proceed there will be no fee payable.

Chance to decide

Remember, you will receive regular video updates as the piece progresses and once it is finished you will receive a final video from which you can decide whether the piece meets your expectations or not and whether to buy it or not. Straight forward, simple as that.
